Boarding your Dog.
Leaving your dog may be a stressful time for you, but kenneling your pet may well be kinder than subjecting it to a long car journey or several hours waiting for you in the car.
We are committed to the welfare and security of the dogs in our care. We can be more secure than leaving your dog with a friend or for long hours alone in the home. We also give your dog the company of other dogs and staff while away from you and your family. However, to make sure your dogs stay in our kennels goes smoothly there are several points you should note.
Do get your dog used to our kennels at an early age.
Dogs quickly get accustomed to new surroundings, and an early experience of our kennels will mean he can be left stress-free later when another stay may be unavoidable. Visit our kennels we need NO notice, bring your pet to inspect us. |
Do make sure your dog has the correct vaccinations. We do NOT take dogs without a current vaccination certificate.
In addition to the dogs annual booster injections, the dog should be protected against the major cause of * infectious bronchitis * which is a separate vaccination given as nose drops . Please remember that this is for the benefit of your pet and those dogs he comes into contact with.
Do leave important information.
In the rush to say goodbye, you may forget something important. We will ask you questions from our "check sheet" so we have all the important information on your pet, this normally includes medical information, vets name and telephone number, special diets, contact numbers etc.
Do bring with you.
Your dogs collar and lead, a comforter for your pet, a favourite toy or blanket that will help it feel at home. |
